What is it?

The FreshTone personal ringtone creator is an application for mobile phones that creates ringtones according to the mood of the user. You tell us how you feel and a song will be made for you. Every time a ringtone is created it will be different. The tune can be adjusted at any time. This way, every user will always have a 100% unique and fresh ringtone according to his mood.

How does it work?

The user makes a new song with only one click. After this the user can personalize the application by entering more personal info like birth date, favourite colour and selecting a mood. These personal settings will be used to create a tune. The user can listen to the ringtone and create a maximum of five tunes before selecting a tone to buy. It is possible to save more than one tone. After the ringtone has been paid and saved, the user can convert the ringtone in a realtone by adding a wallpaper and send this to a friend.

On the website www.freshtone.org users can give their mobile number and manage the tones they have bought. Users can also join a competition with their generated ringtones. They can share their tones with other members and vote for tones in the competition. A tone entered in the competition could also become available for other members to buy. If a user has generated a nice tone, the site can be used to send the ringtone to his friend. A user can for example generate a "love tone" and send it to his girlfriend with a special message.
