Mobi Codes
MobiCodes are the mobile version of the well-known bar codes; that is to say, bar codes which can be sent to a mobile phone. MobiCodes distinguishes itself in the market because the bar codes can be received on all models and types of mobile phone, as well as the fact that the bar codes are very easy to scan with standard (CCD) scanners. Extra investment in additional scanner hardware is therefore generally unnecessary.

Simply aligning the scanner with the mobile phone screen enables the bar code to be read. The bar codes are sent via SMS or MMS to the mobile phone.

With MobiCodes tickets, coupons and (discount) vouchers can all be sent to a mobile phone or PDA. Mobicodes deals with bar codes in the broadest sense of the word and can be used for, among others, admission passes, travel passes, coupons, (discount) vouchers and various other tickets.

Mobi Concepts has joined forces with MobiCodes for sending tickets, coupons and (discount) vouchers to mobile phones or PDAs. These are the mobile versions of bar codes with which everyone is so familiar - bar codes that are sent to mobile phones, in other words. The MobiCodes are sent by SMS or MMS. These bar codes can be sent to every version and every make of mobile phone. They are very easy to scan using standard (CCD) scanners, which means no extra investment in additional scanner hardware is generally necessary. Reading the bar code is simply a question of aligning the scanner with the screen of the mobile phone. MobiCodes can be used as entry tickets, coupons, discount vouchers, tickets on public transport and with other applications where tickets are used.

How does it work?

  1. Your client registers on the link website, or sends an SMS.
  2. The system passes on the 06 number and link code.
  3. We send the client a MobiCode to their mobile.
  4. At the till the MobiCode of the display is scanned and then processed in the usual way.
With MobiCodes it is possible to order tickets, discount vouchers or coupons at any location, at any time. The tickets and vouchers/coupons are delivered direct to the mobile telephone or PDA.
